The Marketing Department of an exciting independent record label is looking for an energetic, creative, business-savvy individual who wants to learn about the music business.
You will learn first-hand the ins and outs of the daily business of a record label.
Some responsibilities include: Online research, data collection and viral marketing tasks Organizing and executing large mailings Making phone calls to collect sales and stock data Marketing related errands Maintaining CD and promotional products Making follow-up calls with college radio and press Maintaining and updating contact database Helping organize street teams for bands Offsite and onsite event preparation and support

Position Title: Music Recording Intern

Our intern program is a great way for music/audio recording students to gain experience in a professional recording environment. You will be exposed to all facets of music recording as you assist on recordings, help with promotion, and assist with creating a comfortable and pleasurable environment for our artists and staff producers.
Our interns help with setting up sessions, running errands and light housekeeping. Interns also assist with promoting and coordinating Talking House events at local San Francisco music venues.
We seek interns for a 1-2 month commitment of at least 20 hours per week. School credit is a requirement for all intern candidates.
