Marc Weibel, Producer
For
over a decade, Talking House Producer Marc Weibel was
the secret weapon of a select handful of San Francisco songwriters and
bands, serving up funky riffs, fiery solos, and dissonant soundscapes
on guitar, in a number of different musical styles. After years of the
nightclub scene, session work, and touring, is was a natural transition
as Marc began to utilize his diverse musical experience in the role of
producer.
Marc is currently producing a wide variety of projects, including an upcoming album with crushing melodic rockers A Band Called Pain, a holiday single from quirky popsters Persephone’s Bees, and the landmark 10-disc series Blueprints of Jazz: Innovators Revealed that features jazz greats such as longtime Herbie Hancock drummer Mike Clark, renowned bassist Christian McBride, piano genius Patrice Rushen, maverick composer Odean Pope, and many others. Marc can be heard playing guitar on many of Talking House’s film, TV, and rock/pop projects, as well.
