Production Team

pc muñoz, Producer

pc muñoz is a recording artist and producer known for innovative, genre-defying music.

20 years of music industry experience as a label owner, internationally-charting recording artist, drummer/percussionist, and leader of a 7-piece ensemble have given pc a unique approach to production and artist development. Past projects include groundbreaking recordings with rock legend Jackson Browne, Prince and the Revolution synth-wiz Dr. Fink, jazz drumming great Scott Amendola, and many other instrumentalists and vocalists from a wide range of musical traditions.

"I've worked with gospel choirs, funk bands, string-based goth rockers, classical musicians, indigenous musicians from Asia, and lots of other folks in-between", pc notes. "No matter the type of music, I believe that the more simply you execute a piece, the better. Discernment is crucial: knowing when to cut the fat, when to add a subtle flourish, when to embrace a technically imperfect (but great-sounding) take as serendipity. My job as a producer is to bring out the best in everyone involved, by keeping a discerning ear on every aspect of the project."

"As a band leader, songwriter, and producer, I feel pc muñoz embodies the best skills of his peers in the music business."
